Eco Innovations started a low cost housing project in 1994 as part of the German Consortium to invest in South Africa. In 2004 PFDE was sub contracted to build the final product in 3D and to create main assembly, sub assembly, weldment and manufacturing drawings of all the parts that make up the assembly. It also included the foundation preparation and specification.

We believe that this design could prove applicable if manufactured with carbon fiber composite panels. It would then be transformed into an expensive house but also one of extreme strength. Maybe then it can be applied in other environments like the weapons industry. The shape suggests a very low IR signiture due to the tilted panels and a combination of Kevlar and other projectile stopping composites can be used to make it bomb proof.
